Jessica Mills is an interdisciplinary artist based in Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL. She works in clay, sculpture, and interactive digital art. Organic matter, the fragmented body, decay, connection, and transformation remain throughlines in her work. She finds harmony between birth and death in her body amalgamations. Physical and spiritual states of being flow between realistic depictions and abstract emotional expressions. She also continues to work as a ceramics technician and teaches 4D Design at Herron School of Art and Design.
